This black & white batik with irregular gray & light blue spots by Island Batiks features vines wound in spirals. A unique black & white batik. The spirals are about 2.5 inches across at the widest point. All batiks are hand dyed. The colors vary even within a bolt of fabric. Because of the nature of the hand-dying process, batiks often bleed or run. Therefore, if you may wash your completed project, we recommend you pre-wash batiks, preferably with something that helps fix" or lock in the colors. Commercial treatments are available.
