Petals burst like fireworks on this Tonga Batik by Timeless Treasures Fabrics. The petals are 3/4 to 7/8 inches in size. All batiks are hand dyed. The colors vary even within a bolt of fabric. Because of the nature of the hand-dying process, batiks often bleed or run. Therefore, if you may wash your completed project, we recommend you pre-wash batiks, preferably with something that helps fix" or lock in the colors. Commercial treatments are available. Many people use white vinegar.
